Company Knowledge

Company Knowledge is the context the Buildify Agent uses on every company conversation. Adding instructions, files, and reference projects helps the agent produce on-brand, accurate work without you having to repeat yourself each time.

Opening Company Knowledge​

  1. Open Company Settings (from the account menu or the Company's menu in the sidebar)
  2. Click the Knowledge tab

You'll need to be an Owner or Admin to change knowledge.

Instructions​

The Instructions field is free-text guidance for the agent — context, rules, tone, or anything it should always keep in mind. For example:

  • "Focus on enterprise clients."
  • "Maintain brand consistency."
  • "Follow our company style guide."

Enter your instructions and save. From then on, the agent applies them across your Company's conversations and tasks.

Files​

Attach reference files the agent can draw on — brand guidelines, product specs, research, and more.

  • Click Add Knowledge → Upload Files
  • Supported types: .txt, .md, .csv, .docx, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, and .pdf
  • Each file can be up to 10MB
  • You can attach up to 5 files

If you haven't added anything yet, you'll see "No files attached yet."

Linked projects​

You can also point the agent at existing Buildify projects as reference material.

  • Click Add Knowledge → Add from Buildify
  • Choose the project (asset) you want to link
  • You can link up to 5 projects

Linked projects give the agent context from work you've already done, so new deliverables stay consistent with the rest of your Company.

tip

Good knowledge is the fastest way to improve the agent's output. A short set of clear instructions plus a couple of key reference files usually makes a big difference in quality and consistency.
