Company Settings

Company Settings is where you manage your Company's profile, team, knowledge, task automation, and billing — all in one place.

Opening Company Settings​

Open Company Settings from either:

  • The account menu (your avatar) → Settings, while you're in a Company account, or
  • The Company's menu (⋯) in the sidebar → Settings

The settings panel has several tabs: Settings, Knowledge, Team, Tasks, and — once you have a subscription — Plans & Billing and Top-Off Credits.

Settings​

The main Settings tab covers your Company's basic profile (editable by Owners and Admins):

  • Company name — Your Company's name. Edit it inline and click Save.
  • Description — A short description of the company.
  • Icon — Click the icon to upload an image for your Company.

Danger Zone​

At the bottom of the Settings tab, Owners see a Danger Zone with the option to Delete Company.

Deleting a Company is permanent. It removes the Company and all associated data — projects, tasks, and knowledge — and cannot be undone. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.

Knowledge​

The Knowledge tab holds the instructions, files, and linked projects the Buildify Agent uses on every company conversation. See Company Knowledge for details.

Team​

The Team tab is where you invite and manage members and their roles. See Team Members and Roles for details.

Tasks​

The Tasks tab controls automation for your Company's task board:

  • Auto-archive completed tasks — When enabled, completed tasks are automatically archived after a set number of days. Choose 7, 14, or 30 days from the Archive after dropdown.

Connectors​

The Connectors tab holds the shared connections to other tools — Slack, or any service with an API — that every project in the Company can use. See What are Connectors?.

Company connectors are separate from your personal ones, and only members with permission to configure connectors can add or remove them.

Plans & Billing and Top-Off Credits​

Once your Company has a subscription, the Plans & Billing and Top-Off Credits tabs let you manage your plan and buy additional credits. See Plans and Credits for how Company billing works.
