Choosing a Project Type

Every project in Buildify starts with choosing a type. The type determines what gets built and how you interact with the result.

Project types​

Web App​

Build a fully functional website — from landing pages and portfolios to multi-page apps. Web App projects come with a live code editor, real-time preview, and deployment to a public URL.

Best for: Landing pages, product sites, portfolios, SaaS dashboards, e-commerce storefronts, internal tools

Docs​

Create professional documentation, guides, FAQs, or knowledge bases. The result is a clean, readable document you can share or publish.

Best for: Product documentation, onboarding guides, wikis, SOPs, reference material

Slides​

Generate a full presentation deck from a prompt or outline. Each slide is created with AI-generated content and a clean layout.

Best for: Pitch decks, team presentations, product overviews, training materials

Images​

Generate images using AI based on text prompts. Results are saved to a gallery inside your project and can be downloaded or used elsewhere.

Best for: Concept art, product mockups, social media assets, illustrations, marketing visuals

AI Chat​

Build and deploy a conversational AI chatbot. You configure what it's for, and Buildify sets up a chat interface you can share or embed.

Best for: Customer support bots, learning assistants, FAQ bots, creative writing tools, interview simulators

How to choose​

Not sure which type fits your idea? Here are a few quick decision points:

  • Need something people can visit in a browser? → Web App
  • Writing content, instructions, or reference material? → Docs
  • Presenting to an audience? → Slides
  • Need visuals or artwork? → Images
  • Want a bot people can talk to? → AI Chat

You can always create multiple projects of different types and combine them — for example, a Web App for your product and a Docs project for your user guide.
